Luckily sunset photos are something I have an ample supply of. I have some from exotic places like Costa Rica, some ocean sunsets from L.A. and San Diego and some beautiful Lake Michigan sunsets that in my opinion rival any ocean sunset. But I have gone into the "vault" and selected 2 that I truly love. The first is of a sunset over Lake Erie taken from my grandparent's backyard. I love that over the years watching the sunsets became a tradition when we were in Avon Lake. This photo was taken on a trip that Jack and I took where we got to spend a few amazing days with my Aunt Marty & Uncle Dan last summer. I loved being able to spend time with them and be able to witness first hand what unconditional love is - something so treasured and amazing and was definitely a dose of the perfect medicine for Jack and I.
The 2nd sunset is from a trip that we took to L.A. It is one of my favorite pictures I have ever taken. I love that it is Jack feeling triumphant and I love that it reminds me of Judd Nelson in The Breakfast Club. Again, great memories of an amazing visit are forever attached to that photo.
I could seriously add about a thousand more sunset pics - what photographer can resist snapping dozens of shots when looking at a sunset? But I at this late hour (seriously I should have been in bed hours ago!) I tried to pick two pictures that were near and dear to my heart. Hopefully tomorrow's topic will lend itself to better photo taking opportunities, but it is always nice to take a brief trip down memory lane - especially when they are such incredible memories as the ones attached to this pics.
